Job Title: MSAT Director

Essential Pharma is seeking a highly experienced MSAT Director to lead our Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) function. This key leadership role will enable the successful delivery of our business strategy as we acquire new assets.

The MSAT Director will be fully accountable for the MSAT function, developing people, leading process optimization, and owning tech transfer for established mature medicines, preclinical, and clinical stage assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the MSAT team, driving projects forward, working with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals, partnering with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to ensure the delivery of key projects.
  • Provide overall accountability for the tech transfer process and support due diligence of target assets identified by M&A for potential acquisition.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Provide ongoing technical support, addressing process deviations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
