We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join our team at The Recruiter Specialists Ltd. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in advising clients on complex commercial property matters, including landlord and tenant disputes, development projects, and secured lending transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on landlord and tenant matters, including excluded leases and protected lease renewals;
  • Assist in the development of land, including negotiation of Development Agreements and Warranties, site assembly, rights to light, and restrictive covenants;
  • Manage secured lending transactions, including drafting and negotiation of commercial charges, debentures, and share charges;
  • Acquire and dispose of leasehold and freehold commercial property, including expertise in dealing with VAT-related TOGC requirements, capital allowances, apportionments, and statutory compliance;
  • Negotiate and report on titles and leases;
  • Supervise and manage junior colleagues, including trainee solicitors;

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial property law;
  • Excellent academics and commercial property experience gained in a top 100 firm;
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;
