Job Title: Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join our team in the North of England. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our existing Industrial Refrigeration service business in the region and expanding our activities with both external and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engineering tasks, including maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDCs, and warehouses, on a variety of equipment, including recip, scroll, and screw compressor packs.
  • Carry out service and reactive breakdown cover in normal working hours, with the option to participate in a standby rota for out-of-hours works.
  • Ensure commercial awareness and business system compliance in all engineering tasks.
  • Responsible for the quality of each engineering task, ensuring all practices are followed at all times.
  • Conform to industry best practices and legislative guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Proven knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration engineering services sector and the expectations of Industrial Refrigeration customers.
  • Demonstrate technical competencies and certificates relevant to the skills required, such as 2079 Refrigerant handling and ACRIB.
  • Successfully completed a recognized training course or apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.
  • Good base knowledge of maintenance and service duties on medium to large industrial applications.
  • Experience with large central plant technical diagnosis and fault-finding skills for various installations, including refrigeration compressors.
