About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dietitian to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert dietetic assessment and interventions for adults with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide dietetic assessment and interventions for adults with eating disorders, utilizing advanced clinical knowledge and expertise.
  • Undertake a significant clinical caseload, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, incorporating the latest national and local guidelines for eating disorders.
  • Supervise and support junior dietitians and generic assistants, promoting professional development and growth.
  • Contribute to the development of service improvements, working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in dietetics or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of eating disorders, including cognitive and perceptual deficits.
  • Proven experience in mental health dietetics, with a strong understanding of professional ethics and application in practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but not essential.
