Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 plus benefits and study support

We are looking for a motivated Financial Assistant to become part of a well-regarded sports organization located in West London. This role presents a wonderful chance to engage with a successful team and play a vital role in the financial management of the organization.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Financial Controller and support a range of accounting functions, reporting, and various other tasks. As you develop in this role, you can anticipate more complex responsibilities and opportunities for professional advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Coordinate with the shared service center
  • Address billing discrepancies
  • Assist the team during audit processes
  • Support month-end closing activities
  • Manage financial administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in finance
  • Proficient in Xero accounting software
  • Currently pursuing ACCA or CIMA, or AAT level 3 or 4
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Familiarity with Word and Excel
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure
  • Enthusiasm for sports
