Product Innovation Manager – Global Food & Beverage Company – Remote Role - Competitive Salary + Benefits
Our client is a prominent Global Food & Beverage company known for its exceptional quality and innovative offerings. They are currently undergoing a significant expansion in the UK market and are seeking a Product Innovation Manager to drive their new product initiatives.
The Product Innovation Manager will play a crucial role in defining the future of the brand by creating innovative and commercially viable Food & Beverage products. This includes managing the complete product development cycle, from initial concept through to market launch, ensuring alignment with current market trends and consumer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Concept Ideation: Collaborate with the culinary team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for new menu items that resonate with the brand's values and customer desires.
- Market Analysis: Execute comprehensive market analysis to uncover emerging trends, consumer demands, and potential avenues for product innovation.
- Recipe Creation: Work alongside chefs to craft and perfect recipes, ensuring they meet standards for consistency, quality, and profitability.
- Project Oversight: Manage the entire product development process, including ideation, prototyping, testing, and launch, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery of all projects.
- Supplier Collaboration: Engage with suppliers to identify and source new ingredients that meet quality benchmarks.
- Financial Assessment: Conduct financial assessments and margin evaluations to ensure the economic feasibility of new products.
- Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that all new products adhere to food safety regulations and internal company standards.
- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and procurement teams to facilitate seamless product launches.
- Consumer Insights: Collect and analyze consumer feedback on new products to inform data-driven enhancements.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrated experience in product development and menu innovation within a Restaurant, QSR, or Foodservice context.
- Willingness to travel frequently for business purposes.
- Educational background in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of market trends, consumer needs, and financial considerations in the food sector.
- Possession of a valid UK driving license.
