Role Overview:

To optimize our understanding of assets and improve decision-making processes, we are looking for an experienced BI Developer to join our team.

This position will focus on developing reports across Angel Trains' data ecosystem, utilizing Microsoft Fabric to create, manage, and maintain BI applications that deliver actionable insights while transforming raw data into insightful reports, charts, and dashboards.

This role is essential for advancing data visualization and business intelligence capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary expert on Microsoft PowerBI/Fabric within our IT team.
  • Create tailored data models and analytical dashboards that provide accessible insights.
  • Collaborate with the development team to build effective solutions and accessible reporting.
  • Offer technical support for end-user inquiries related to reporting.
  • Assist in creating and delivering user training materials.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proficient in developing applications using Microsoft SQL Server Database and Microsoft PowerBI/Fabric; familiarity with other analytical tools is advantageous.
  • Experience working in successful development teams within a commercial setting.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting reporting solutions.
  • Certification as a Microsoft Certified: PowerBI Data Analyst Associate is a plus.
