Job Summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Service Support Specialist to join our team. As a Service Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support and technical expertise to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or other communication channels
  • Advanced remote fault finding using specialized tools and software
  • Electrical fault diagnosis and repair, including reading electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Mechanical fault diagnosis and repair, including reading mechanical drawings and understanding measurements and tolerances
  • Software troubleshooting and maintenance, including communication with customers and technicians
  • Spare parts administration, including identifying parts required and producing quotations
  • Planning and coordinating service visits, including travel arrangements and hotel bookings
  • Briefing technicians prior to scheduled work and liaising with them on site
  • Collecting commissioning information and release codes, and updating the database accordingly
  • Visiting customer sites, both in the UK and overseas, as required

Requirements

  • Electrical or Electronic Engineering qualification (City & Guilds Level 1-3, HNC/HND, or NVQ Level 2 or above)
  • Previous experience in electrical fault finding, either on-site or over the phone
  • Good customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Meticulous and accurate, with the ability to close out
  • Computer literate, with basic level skills in Word and Excel
  • Fluent Spanish speaker (ideally)

Benefits

  • Salary: £42,000 - £44,000 per annum
  • Minimum hours of work: 08:45 - 17:15, Monday - Friday
