- Utilize staffing resources effectively to maintain a high standard of service.
- Assist the Outpatient Manager with administrative tasks and departmental operations.
- Develop and manage staff schedules, including coverage for annual leave, to ensure continuous service delivery.
- Oversee budget management to align with departmental goals.
- Uphold professional conduct standards and comply with relevant directives.
- Engage in committee work and collaborative projects as needed.
- Exhibit advanced clinical skills in your designated area of expertise.
- Serve as a clinical resource for junior staff and colleagues, enhancing their practice.
- Monitor and assess the clinical performance of junior nursing staff.
- Support the development of key staff through supervision and guidance.
- Collaborate closely with consultants to ensure effective patient management.
- Encourage reflective practice and evidence-based nursing care.
- Strive for high levels of patient satisfaction in nursing care delivery.
- Promote a holistic approach to patient care.
- Maintain knowledge of nursing budgets and departmental performance metrics.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to enhance service efficiency.
- Participate in the appraisal and training processes for junior staff.
- Effectively manage the deployment of bank staff based on service demands.
- Ensure the safety of medications and controlled substances.
- Maintain accurate patient records to facilitate multidisciplinary communication.
- Oversee staff scheduling and annual leave management for operational continuity.
