ProTalent is seeking a skilled Payroll Supervisor to join their team.
The purpose of the role
To prepare and manage the monthly and weekly payrolls for a variety of clients, including:
- Dealing with monthly and weekly RTI submissions
- Submission of auto-enrolment information to pension providers
- Dealing with monthly CIS returns
Reporting directly to Partners, the successful candidate will:
- Manage a payroll bureau for a portfolio of around 100 monthly and weekly payrolls and 150 monthly 'directors only' payrolls
- Liaise directly with clients to obtain the necessary information to complete payrolls in a timely manner to meet filing and payment deadlines
- Ensure that auto-enrolment information is correctly calculated and uploaded to Pension providers
- Control WIP, client billing, and provide additional help and guidance to clients as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage monthly and weekly payrolls
- Manage payroll bureau for a portfolio of clients
- Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information
- Ensure accurate auto-enrolment information
- Control WIP and client billing
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of payroll procedures and regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems
