Job Title: Senior Logistics Project Manager

Contract Details:

  • Contract length: 18 months
  • Pay Rate: £74 per hour OUTSIDE IR35

About the Role:

Carrington West is seeking a highly experienced Senior Logistics Project Manager to join their team on a long-term contract. As a Senior Logistics Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex logistics projects in the highly regulated sectors of nuclear and defence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead logistics projects with extensive background knowledge in nuclear and defence sectors
  • Manage project teams and stakeholders at all levels, including the Senior Leadership Team
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure project success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Provide quality assurance and control to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and suppliers

Requirements:

  • Extensive logistics background, ideally from a construction project
  • Experience as a project manager with a proven track record of success
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Experience working in highly regulated sectors, such as nuclear and defence
  • Ability to lead large-scale projects with complex multi-discipline teams
  • Background in leading a team of skilled project managers
  • Experience in a senior project management role
