We are excited to present an opportunity for a motivated individual to join a leading player in the footwear industry as a Junior Merchandiser. This role is integral to our client's dynamic merchandising team, located in a vibrant Head Office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the trading of the Kids & Accessories division, ensuring effective stock management and accurate forecasting of key items.
- Collaborate with the buying team to curate future product ranges that align with market trends.
- Manage the planning system to optimize stock levels and open-to-buy (OTB) effectively.
- Foster strong relationships with key brand partners to enhance collaboration.
- Generate and analyze weekly performance reports to inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare detailed information for meetings, including sign-offs and promotional planning.
- Ensure optimal stock flow and sales maximization through careful intake planning.
- Engage with internal stakeholders across various departments to streamline operations.
- Lead and mentor team members, aligning their development with departmental goals.
- Present analytical insights and performance metrics in meetings with senior management.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A background as a Junior Merchandiser or Senior Assistant Merchandiser within a retail environment.
- Strong self-motivation and a proactive approach to achieving results.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
