Senior Mechanical Engineering Consultant

Sector: Building Services / Construction

Location: Central London

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineering Consultant within the construction sector to become part of the Building Services team at a globally recognized, leading Main Contractor known for executing some of the most prestigious projects worldwide.

You will be engaged in one of the prominent projects in London – a significant commercial Shell & Core development that will enhance the city's skyline.

The projects primarily focus on large-scale Commercial, Data Centre, and Life Sciences initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and select appropriate materials and safe working systems that will influence project outcomes.
  • Facilitate effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues and design consultants.
  • Manage subcontractors, ensuring performance monitoring and adherence to KPIs.
  • Establish and supervise the local application of engineering systems, documentation, and controls to meet health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and technical submissions.
  • Engage in Value Engineering practices.
