About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Lead Exploration Systems Analyst, where you will play a key role in supporting the exploration and development of oil and gas resources in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge technologies and solutions to support exploration and development activities.
  • Collaborate with geoscientists to conduct advanced basin and reservoir characterization studies, leveraging industry-leading G&G software platforms.
  • Build and sustain live earth models, incorporating structural updates and petrophysical data to optimize well placement and reservoir development.
  • Deploy and support specialized geoscience software to build accurate subsurface models and reduce costs.
  • Develop and deliver customized geoscience training in areas such as basin modeling, geomechanics, and quantitative seismic interpretation.
Requirements
  • Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or Computer Science, with an advanced degree preferred.
  • Possess at least 10 years of recent industry experience working on geoscience projects, studies, and operations.
  • Demonstrate intensive knowledge in geological and geophysical disciplines, including exploration, basin modeling, and reservoir development.
  • Have mastery-level knowledge and experience in building and sustaining live earth models, with familiarity with conformal mapping techniques.
  • Be an expert in handling and automating field geologists' operational workflows, including well planning, log interpretation, and geosteering.
