We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Unsted Park School. As a key member of our Therapy team, you will work closely with students who have complex needs, including autism and associated learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support students' physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with other therapists, teachers, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student care.
- Provide professional supervision and support to students, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to student care and support.
- Registered Occupational Therapist with a BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with children and young people with complex needs, particularly those on the autistic spectrum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of students.
- A supportive and experienced team of dedicated support staff, committed to delivering the best care for our students.
