Job Description

Rullion Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Administer main contracts and subcontracts, ensuring timely submission of payment applications and final account settlements.
  • Financial Management: Provide accurate financial status updates, including forecast out-turn positions, to the project manager and commercial project manager.
  • Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and assess risks and opportunities, supporting the project manager and commercial project manager in their decision-making process.
  • Claim Management: Manage project change management and claims, relating to both the main contract with customers and subcontractors/key suppliers.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with the project team, providing contractual advice and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in quantity surveying, contract management, and/or commercial project management.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with various construction and engineering forms of contract, particularly the NEC Contract, FIDIC, and MF/1.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with project stakeholders.
