Job Summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthotist to join our in-house Orthotics team at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality orthotic care to patients, working closely with our technical team to ensure devices are manufactured to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical orthotic care to patients, including rectification of plaster casts and CAD-CAM modeling.
  • Work closely with our technical team to ensure orthotic devices are manufactured to the highest standard.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of orthotics and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and joint working with other Allied Health Professionals.
Requirements
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in orthotics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel between sites and occasionally across Scotland.
  • Compassionate approach to patient care and ability to form working relationships within a multi-disciplinary environment.
