About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to join our BDO UK LLP team as an Asset Associate. As a key member of our HR Services team, you will play a vital role in supporting the wider HR team in all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a seamless candidate onboarding experience, ensuring a positive first impression for new joiners
  • Creation of offer letters and contracts, ensuring compliance with firm-wide processes
  • Manage the full process of background screening for candidates, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to GDPR guidelines
  • Cross-train with colleagues in the EH recruitment team, learning new processes and developing expertise in HR systems
  • Ensure quality, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the HR Shared Service offering, focusing on client service excellence
  • Work closely with other HR teams, including Resourcing, Employee Relations, Reward, and HR Generalist teams, to deliver exceptional HR services
Requirements
  • A / AS Level education or equivalent, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Proven experience within an HR operational delivery role, ideally within a Shared Service structure, with a focus on process improvement and client satisfaction
  • Proficient IT skills using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel & Outlook), with experience of working with HR Systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, balancing multiple tasks and deadlines, with a high level of focus and attention to detail
  • A high level of personal commitment to task completion, with a strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure
  • Values diversity of colleagues and demonstrates capability to work as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude
