Role Summary
The Justice Social Work department is seeking to expand its Operations Management team during a pivotal phase of service transformation. This includes the introduction of innovative practices through our Recovery-Oriented Justice team, restorative justice initiatives, and the inclusion of individuals with lived experiences of the justice system in our workforce.
As an Operations Manager, you will oversee a variety of statutory Justice services. The positions will encompass responsibilities related to Unpaid Work Services, Throughcare, and local service provisions. We are particularly keen to receive applications from candidates with a robust background in MAPPA and experience in managing individuals who pose a risk of serious harm, as we aim to establish a dedicated MAPPA/MAPP's team in the coming months.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include ensuring that Justice Services deliver high-quality offerings that align with social work principles and council policies, adhering to National Standards, statutory obligations, and relevant legislation. Both roles will emphasize our commitment to performance management, quality assurance, and self-evaluation.
