About the Role

Square is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join our team in Cornwall on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work as part of a team either leading or assisting in the performance of maintenance activities, installation and repair.
  2. Follow strict maintenance instructions and step-by-step method statements to ensure safety and compliance.
Requirements
  1. Minimum - City & Guilds / NVQ or HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering - 18th edition.
  2. Preferably degree educated in an Electrical Engineering/Technical discipline - chartered or equivalent.
  3. Budget monitoring, commercial awareness, and experience managing contractors.
  4. Previous work experience in the nuclear sector/industrial environment advantageous, specifically high voltage plant/equipment.
  5. Proven ability in the preparation of reports and information using packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  6. Suitable relevant technical experience including preparation of technical documentation, review and approval of technical proposals and procedures, experience of construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
  7. Experience of supervising and setting contractors/sub-contractors to work in their roles and experience in leading a project team.
