English Academic Mentor Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Academic Mentor to join our team at RIBBONS AND REEVES. As an English Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students who require assistance with their GCSE exam preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one guidance and support to students in need of help with their GCSE exam preparation.
  • Work with students who require additional support to achieve their academic goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure students receive the best possible support.
  • Develop and implement effective learning strategies to support students in achieving their academic potential.
  • Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
Requirements:
  • A First Class English Degree from a leading UK University.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities and needs.
  • Experience of working with students who require additional support.
  • Knowledge of GCSE exam preparation and curriculum.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive daily rate of £90-£100 (inclusive of holiday pay).
  • Paid weekly via PAYE.
