We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HMP Winchester, a Category B Local remand prison in Central Winchester. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of pharmacy services to our patients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy services, with experience working in a hospital, community, or prison environment. You will be responsible for supporting the pharmacy team in the delivery of medicines management, patient counselling, and medicines reconciliation. You will also be required to participate in the day-to-day operational management of the unit.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong background in pharmacy services, with experience working in a hospital, community, or prison environment. You will also need to have a current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and hold an ACT qualification.
