Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and successful Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Approach Personnel to deliver a planned works and decarbonisation project. The successful candidate will have a proven commercial background with experience in refurbishment programmes, ideally within the Social Housing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Control all expenditure, reconcile cost/value reports & profit forecasts, and ensure value for money & financial assessments.
  • Subcontractor Management: On-board subcontractors/suppliers, process requests for payment via application & invoice, and manage day-to-day cost control & monitoring & reporting.
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of subcontractor procurement and cost management, including the CVR process.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven commercial experience in refurbishment programmes, ideally within the Social Housing sector.
  • Strong understanding of internal and external planned maintenance programmes.
  • Excellent client relationship skills and ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
