Job Overview:


We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Team Leader to oversee and manage our electrical engineering and maintenance personnel at our Rugby facility.

As an integral part of the engineering management team, you will be tasked with organizing workloads, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring that all electrical maintenance activities are executed effectively and safely.


Key Responsibilities:

Supervision & Coordination:

Direct and manage the daily operations of the electrical maintenance team, ensuring that all tasks are performed to a high standard and within specified timeframes.


Workload Management:
Assess and allocate tasks to the maintenance team based on operational priorities and urgent needs.

Health & Safety Compliance:
Perform regular inspections and ensure that all activities adhere to health and safety standards.

Team Leadership:
Offer guidance, support, and training to a team of maintenance technicians, promoting a collaborative and efficient work atmosphere.

Continuous Improvement:

Collaborate closely with the engineering management team to devise and implement strategies aimed at enhancing maintenance processes and equipment reliability.


Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Background:
Completion of an Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Supervisory Experience:
Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or team leader capacity within an electrical engineering or maintenance setting.

Health & Safety:
A health and safety certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Technical Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles and the capability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate technical challenges.
