Job Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our team as a Back of House Operative at Newcastle United Football Club.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend all meetings and training sessions as required.

  • Complete any reasonable requests and be flexible to changes in the business.
  • Comply with all company policies, including grooming and social media guidelines.
  • Ensure all breaks are taken at the correct times in line with company policy.
  • Be willing to assist or move to other areas of the business to develop skills or meet business demands.
  • Maintain all areas of the facility to an exceptional standard of cleanliness and appearance.
  • Ensure customer requirements and satisfaction are met throughout the day, with a focus on building strong customer relationships.
  • Polish all crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
  • Clear store rooms, function rooms, bars, and kiosks of all equipment once the room is completed.
  • Use quiet periods to prepare for the following day.
  • Ensure the safe and secure storage of equipment and stock.
  • Collect and redistribute deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Securely store property until collection.
  • Report any broken equipment, soup kettles, or chaffing dishes, removing them from circulation and disposing of or repairing them as necessary.
  • Set up function suites, bars, and kiosks according to function sheets, providing all necessary mise-en-place in an efficient and productive manner.
  • Complete any other reasonable requests.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience working in a large operation with high-volume meetings and events, as well as match day operations.
