About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Consultant/Fire Risk Assessor to join our team at Lighthouse Risk Services LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on health and safety matters, including fire risk assessments and other related services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct health and safety audits and reviews of safe working practices
  • Perform fire risk assessments across a diverse range of properties
  • Carry out independent contract site inspections
  • Assist with the formulation of risk assessments and method statements
  • Prepare policy documentation
  • Conduct safety training courses
  • Conduct accident investigations
  • Provide general support and competent advice to our client base
  • Assist with client SSIP accreditation applications and the relevant sections of tender documentation
  • Undertake specialist surveys and assessments (qualification dependent)
Requirements
  • Hold the NEBOSH General/Fire Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum
  • Be a member of IOSH/IFE (or equivalent)
  • Have previous experience in providing H&S consultancy/Fire risk assessment services within a customer-facing environment
