Travel Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Consultant to join our team at Invigorate Recruitment. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing all travel requirements and holidays for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and plan every aspect of our customers' holiday experience, including flights, accommodation, and travel arrangements.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information, brochures, and internet links to customers.
  • Advise customers on visa requirements and country-specific regulations.
  • Process booking administration and documents with high attention to detail.
  • Liaise with clients to resolve any issues or changes to bookings.
  • Attend promotional events to gain product knowledge and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
Essential Qualities:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • First-class attention to detail, customer service experience, and commercial awareness.
  • Up-to-date product knowledge and ability to promote additional products, such as airport hotels and attraction tickets.
  • Strong sales skills and ability to manage customer complaints.
Desirable Qualities:
  • A passion for travel, demonstrated through personal experience.
  • Experience with reservation systems, such as Inspearational.
  • A degree or relevant qualification in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, or Business.
Working Hours and Benefits:
  • Monday to Saturday, excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays.
