We are currently in search of a proficient Telehandler to enhance our workforce. In this role, you will be tasked with operating a 17m JCB to effectively lift, transport, and position substantial materials across various construction sites. Your meticulous approach and adherence to safety standards will be vital in guaranteeing the secure and efficient handling of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Telehandler safely to lift and move materials as required on construction sites.
  • Follow all safety regulations and protocols to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the construction team to ensure the timely movement of materials in line with project specifications.
  • Conduct regular maintenance inspections on the Telehandler to ensure it operates at peak performance.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials from trucks or other vehicles using the Telehandler.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in operating a Telehandler or comparable heavy machinery.
  • Excellent driving capabilities with the skill to navigate the Telehandler in confined areas.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to address minor operational issues.
  • Familiarity with operating a 17m JCB.
  • Possession of a CPCS or NPORS Telehandler certification and a valid UK driving license.
