Electrical Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Global Recruitment Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing control and safety management systems for a leading manufacturer of specialist equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical control systems and control panels
  • Produce electrical schematic diagrams and wiring schematics
  • Specify and select components for electrical designs
  • Develop enhancements to existing product ranges
  • Support technical sales and manufacturing departments
  • Produce technical documentation, including drawings and bills of materials

Requirements:

  • Experience in electrical design and development
  • Proven track record in electrical control design and system development
  • Knowledge of electrical design software, such as EPlan
  • Qualification to HNC level or higher, preferably with a degree
