About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Dietitian to join our team at Nottingham CityCare Partnership CIC. As a key member of our community health team, you will play a vital role in providing expert nutrition and dietetic advice to infants, children, and young people in the local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical dietetic services to patients in community settings, including primary care and community clinics.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based dietary guidelines for healthy eating and therapeutic diets.
  • Collaborate with primary health care teams, community health professionals, and other local agencies to ensure consistent and appropriate nutrition and dietetic advice is available throughout the community.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals, students, and the general public on nutrition and dietetic topics.
  • Contribute to the development of the community dietetic service, including service development, resource sourcing, and training.
Requirements
  • Qualified Dietitian (4-year degree, post-graduate diploma, or equivalent).
  • Registered dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Broad variety of post-registration work experience as a registered dietitian.
  • Accurate keyboard and IT skills for record keeping, data inputting, word processing, internet access, and dietary analysis.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • BDA Paediatric Dietetics Course Module 1 and 2.
  • Postgraduate accredited courses on nutrition/dietetic topics, food allergy, obesity, autism.
  • Experience of working in partnership with local authority and other non-NHS agencies.
Special Requirements
  • Full driving license and the ability to travel between locations.
