Tissue Viability Secretary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Secretary to join our Tissue Viability team to assist in administrative tasks that are required for the smooth operation of this busy department. This role will be both challenging and rewarding, and is fundamental to the delivery of an efficient Tissue Viability service that supports hospitals across the Trust.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the administration of the Tissue Viability team
- Providing excellent customer care and communication skills
- Organising and undertaking regular audits and teaching sessions
- Supporting the team in the prevention and treatment of wounds and pressure ulcers

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have:
- Working knowledge of the NHS
- Personal secretary role
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Computer literate with excellent keyboard skills
The successful candidate will have:
- Good general education including English GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent)
- RSA III typing/audio typing/or equivalent word processing qualification
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous customer care and secretarial experience
