A proactive DevSecOps Engineer with a passion for Security and DevSecOps is required to join our client, a leading ecommerce organisation. The successful candidate will have experience of DevSecOps on Web or eCommerce platforms and will be eligible to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain Security measures on Linux Servers
  • Conduct Security Testing (Manual & Automated) focusing on CVE (Common Vulnerabilities Exposure)
  • Lead Security Audits & Risk Assessments - focus on Web & ecommerce
  • Develop, maintain & optimise CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub or similar
  • Support with Automating Operational processes to improve reliability, security & performance
  • Collaborate with the team to introduce new ideas & Security focused technologies

Requirements:

  • Passion for Security & DevSecOps
  • Security - DevSecOps - Web or eCommerce platform experience
  • Security Best Practices - own, drive & advise on Security Best Practices
  • Linux System Management - Linux Servers - manage server environments, system hardening, patching & security
  • Security Monitoring & Testing Tools - experience of tools such as CloudFlare, OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, New Relic, Alert Logic, or similar
  • Penetration Testing - third-party support available
  • Security Monitoring & Intrusion Detection
  • Web Security Best Practices - covering Customer Checkout, Customer Registration, Customer Login, Customer Authentication/Encryption, Secure Payment Processing - PCI DSS standard etc.
  • Security Incident Response & Reporting
  • CI/CD Pipeline & Automation
  • Cloud - Azure experience
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving skills
  • Team Player - self-motivated & flexible - collaborative approach
  • Stakeholder Engagement - ability to communicate Security topics to non-technical & technical stakeholders
  • Excellent Communication skills - ability to communicate effectively

Desirable:

  • Security Certification - CISSP, GSEC, GIAC or similar
  • Infrastructure As A Code (IAC) - Ansible, Terraform etc.
