We are seeking an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join our finance team at The Portfolio Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely income receipt, banking, and recording.
Key Responsibilities:- Raise and process sales invoices and credit notes efficiently.
- Monitor and follow up on client contract documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Accurately record account and contract information in our sales information system.
- Maintain and update sales ledger spreadsheets to ensure data integrity.
- Resolve invoicing queries promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Post cash on a daily basis and allocate to the sales ledger accurately.
- Process direct debits efficiently to minimize delays.
- Run debtors' reports regularly to identify potential issues.
- Assist with Purchase Ledger and other finance tasks as needed to support the team.
- Recent and proven experience in a Sales Ledger or Finance Admin role.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel.
- Enthusiastic and strong work ethic, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Confident communicator with experience in customer interactions.
