We are seeking an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join our finance team at The Portfolio Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely income receipt, banking, and recording.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Raise and process sales invoices and credit notes efficiently.
  • Monitor and follow up on client contract documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Accurately record account and contract information in our sales information system.
  • Maintain and update sales ledger spreadsheets to ensure data integrity.
  • Resolve invoicing queries promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Post cash on a daily basis and allocate to the sales ledger accurately.
  • Process direct debits efficiently to minimize delays.
  • Run debtors' reports regularly to identify potential issues.
  • Assist with Purchase Ledger and other finance tasks as needed to support the team.
Requirements:
  • Recent and proven experience in a Sales Ledger or Finance Admin role.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel.
  • Enthusiastic and strong work ethic, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Confident communicator with experience in customer interactions.
