We are currently in search of two qualified Electrical Site Supervisors - AP to oversee projects in the wastewater and water treatment field. The ideal candidates will possess substantial experience and expertise in managing electrical installations.

Position: Electrical Site Supervisor - AP

Location: Rochester

Contract Type: Freelance

Compensation: £350 per day, Outside of IR-35

Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing electrical installation processes
  • Maintaining SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) standards
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes
  • Executing safe isolation procedures for LV electrical systems
  • Reviewing and monitoring supplier inspection and testing protocols
  • Conducting site inductions and toolbox discussions
  • Supporting commissioning activities
  • Participating in collaborative planning sessions
  • As the Electrical Appointed Person, ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations and documentation
  • Performing electrical safety inspections on both temporary and permanent equipment
  • Conducting one-on-one meetings with supply chain supervisors
  • Supervising electrical testing procedures
  • Issuing access limitation permits

Required Qualifications:

  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification - Mandatory
  • Appointed Person Status - Mandatory
  • FAAW certification - Mandatory
  • ECS card - Mandatory
  • C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations - Mandatory
  • NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations - Mandatory
  • IEE 18th edition wiring regulations - Mandatory
  • 2391 Test and Inspect certification - Preferred
