Accountancy Practice Senior

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join our team at TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency in the South East. Our client, a reputable chartered accountancy practice based in Wokingham, Berkshire, is looking for a skilled professional to fill a general practice role involving accounts, tax, bookkeeping, and VAT.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing statutory accounts and assisting with management accounts production.
- Handling personal tax, corporate tax, and VAT returns.
- Performing general bookkeeping duties using Xero or Quickbooks.
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees.
- ACCA / ACA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Substantial experience within a UK accountancy practice, preparing accounts, tax, and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an accountancy practice environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support junior staff.
- A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
