Job Title: Credit Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our finance team at Ainscough Crane Hire Limited. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely settlement of sales invoices and maintaining a healthy cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with clients' Accounts Payable and Sub Contract Accounts to achieve timely payment.
  2. Run credit checks and update client records to accurately reflect credit limits.
  3. Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for cash collection targets and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) are met.
  4. Agree customer orders on accounts that are credit held for overdue or over credit limit.
  5. Perform customer account housekeeping tasks.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience working in a fast-paced credit control environment.
  2. Pleasant telephone manner and ability to build professional relationships.
  3. Experience with credit insurance is desirable.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  5. Confident and proactive approach.
  6. Energetic and self-motivated individual.
