Maths Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maths Teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths to students at KS3 and KS4.

About the Role

The Maths department at our school is well-resourced and boasts an approachable and supportive head of department. The successful Maths Teacher will be expected to teach Maths to students at KS3 and KS4, and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Maths to students at KS3 and KS4
  • Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum
  • Assess and record student progress
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of Maths department policies

Requirements

To be considered for this Maths Teacher position, you will need to have:

  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Experience of teaching Maths to students at KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to providing high-quality education to students
