CK Group is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join their team in the Metals industry at their site in Chesterfield on a permanent basis.


About the Company:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of transformative technology for the aluminium industry, with a strong presence in the UK and internationally.
Job Summary:
This role involves providing equipment design, testing, installation, and commissioning services to clients, as well as leading projects to design and install new equipment at client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop process equipment, facilities, control systems, and ancillary components
  • Lead projects from client briefings through system design, installation, commissioning, and handover
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Travel to client sites domestically and internationally to provide on-site support

Requirements:
  • Degree-level education in Chemical Engineering
  • Significant experience in a projects-focused role within chemical manufacturing, ideally in the metals industry
  • Excellent experience in process and equipment design, including mass and energy balances, pressure drop calculations, and heat transfer design
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from start to finish
