About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our proactive and committed team at Meadow View. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Care planning and coordination for allocated patients, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Medication administration and management, adhering to safe practice guidelines and protocols.
  • Effective communication with patients, families, and carers, maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient wishes.
  • Safeguarding and risk management, identifying and mitigating potential risks to patients and staff.
  • Participation in ward rounds, contributing to patient care planning and decision-making.
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and patient outcomes.

Person Specification

  • Essential qualifications: Registered Nurse with mental health qualification, current registration with the NMC.
  • Desirable qualifications: Experience of inpatient ward working, understanding of older people's mental health and the challenges it creates.
