Lead Data Engineer

£70,000 - 83,000 | Full Time | Remote | AWS | EC2 | SQL | Redshift | Data Strategy | Data Modelling

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our team at SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for shaping our data function to drive real business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data warehousing solutions using Redshift.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth through data-driven insights.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a data engineering position.
  • Hands-on experience working on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing techniques and data modelling.
  • Business acumen and data strategy skills.
  • Experience in managing small teams and leading projects.
