Exciting Associate Director Role for Chartered Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an ambitious and accomplished Chartered Quantity Surveyor to take on a unique management role within our QS and PM consultancy. As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our Nottingham office, managing a small team of junior staff, and driving business development initiatives.

This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career in a management role, combining hands-on Quantity Surveying duties with leadership responsibilities. You will work closely with our Director to ensure the smooth operation of the office and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying duties
  • Day-to-day management and running of the office
  • Management and mentorship of a small team
  • Developing new contacts and performing in a business development role
  • Involved in the recruitment strategy and interviewing process
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Provide regular progress reports internally
  • Attending networking events

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Candidates must demonstrate managerial skills and experience
  • Ability to run large individual projects or multiple smaller projects concurrently
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in a work-winning role is advantageous
  • A career working predominantly for a PQS is essential

Additional Benefits Package:
