We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Haematologist to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide full clinical care of patients with blood disorders, including Haematological malignancy.
- Offer specialist advice on all aspects of haematology to colleagues within the Trust and Primary Care.
- Provide clinical support for the laboratories at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary and Furness General Hospital.
- Contribute to the development of an integrated pattern of working across the three main sites.
- FRCPath (Haematology) or equivalent and M/FRCP or equivalent are essential qualifications for this post.
- Registered with the General Medical Council with a licence to practice and an accredited specialist in Haematology (or within 6 months of gaining CCT) or equivalent.
- Experience of audit and computer literacy are also essential.
