Role Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, your primary focus will be on managing and nurturing your team to achieve their utmost potential.

This position will involve providing support to Young Persons Workers and may require travel across the region. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are necessary for this role.

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates should:

Hold an ONC/NVQ level 3 qualification or be committed to obtaining it within a specified timeframe Have experience in health, social care, or related fields, collaborating with various agencies Demonstrate a successful history of team management and development Understand the challenges faced by individuals dealing with substance misuse or mental health issues Be knowledgeable about harm reduction strategies during treatment Be familiar with health and safety protocols in a care environment Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Cultivate effective working relationships with colleagues and external partners Show resilience and adaptability in a dynamic work environment Be results-oriented and capable of data analysis Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal Be proficient in IT and digital communication tools Work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating a supportive approach

Additionally, candidates must meet safeguarding requirements, including a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in:

Substance misuse support Mental health services Educational environments

Experience in budget management is advantageous but not mandatory.
