As a Warehouse Operative at Inspired Pet Nutrition, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that products are receipted in, stored, and dispatched to the agreed standards and loading plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply production departments with raw and packaging materials to maintain a continuous production program
  • Locate finished goods from production areas into the warehouse for storage until dispatch
  • Unload incoming vehicles and rack away materials following acceptance and GRN generation
  • Pick and assemble loads ready for dispatch, loading outgoing vehicles with finished goods as detailed on loading dispatch paperwork
  • Work in a safe manner at all times, ensuring the safety of yourself and colleagues, following health and safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure FLT fleet is fit for purpose through completing starter documentation and reporting damage to FLTs and plant damage
  • Undertake training and assist with the training of other colleagues when required, acting as a buddy for new colleagues and providing guidance where necessary
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role within manufacturing
  • Counterbalance/reach truck license or reach desirable, with full training provided
  • A good standard of education, demonstrating good literacy and numerical skills, able to understand, communicate, and report clearly in English
