Role Overview:

The Leyland Facility is the birthplace of our renowned Chicago Town Pizzas. We are seeking a committed professional to join our advanced production team, contributing to the success of the Dr. Oetker and Chicago Town brands.

In this position, you will:

Maximize the Purchasing Department's impact on company profitability through strategic purchasing and ongoing supplier performance enhancement. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to execute purchasing processes, ensuring a steady supply of raw materials, packaging, and third-party products while identifying opportunities for competitive advantage. Provide timely information to support the company's budgeting and costing requirements. Negotiate and establish sustainable contracts and agreements with suppliers. Assess supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and reliability. Maintain accurate information systems, ensuring all relevant data, including pricing, lead times, and payment terms, are current. Enjoy the chance to be part of an International Purchasing Team.

Candidate Profile:

At Dr. Oetker, we recognize that our employees are vital to our success. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an FMCG international context. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and familiarity with SAP is advantageous.

You should be a confident communicator with a professional demeanor, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Strong negotiation skills will be beneficial.

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines is essential. You should possess an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
