We are seeking a highly skilled Tender Writer / Bid Coordinator to join our Business Development Team at the CareTech Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Bid and Tender Team to win new business and retain existing contracts.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to clearly articulate our vision and service delivery in a concise and engaging manner. You will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of our local operational models and national strategy, as well as staying up-to-date with relevant regulations and industry developments.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our local operational models and national strategy
- Deliver high-quality written content for tenders, including method statements and other supporting documentation
- Coordinate the written response to tender opportunities, working closely with the Bid Manager and other stakeholders
- Manage the completion of individual tender applications, including maintaining awareness of other contracts due for tender
- Support the sourcing and triage of opportunities, including reviewing new tender documentation and preparing for triage calls
- Collate and re-write internal contributions to create a coherent and structured final tender
- Proof-read and edit method statements on all aspects of service delivery
- Provide administrative support, including maintaining our existing library and ensuring all relevant external portals are updated and maintained
- 5 GCSEs grade 5 (C) and above, including English
- A Levels or equivalent relevant occupational experience
- Excellent networking skills, with the ability to work successfully both internally and externally at all levels
- Experience of writing and delivering successful written content, with a strong ability to express a response in a concise manner
- Ability to communicate our vision and service delivery in writing, in an accessible and engaging manner
- Attention to detail and ability to seek out information proactively from a variety of sources
- Ability to organise your own time effectively, meeting deadlines while showing good attention to detail and maintaining quality
- Flexible and committed approach to working hours and annual leave
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience of using online portals and applications
