Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated A&E General Nurse to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that patient needs are met and goals are achieved.
- Act as a mentor and preceptor to junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the development of our nursing team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
