Job Title: Regulatory Reporting Specialist

As a Regulatory Reporting Specialist at Metro Bank, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's regulatory compliance by overseeing the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to various financial authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective regulatory reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of internal processes, controls, and interpretations to ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues across the bank to ensure coordination across all lines of defense.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and work with senior management to assess potential impact on the bank.
  • Collaborate with the wider Prudential Risk function and act as a delegate for Head of Regulatory Reporting oversight.
Requirements:
  • Have a deep understanding of the risks associated with regulatory reporting and its impact on the bank and stakeholders.
  • Bring experience in regulatory reporting, finance, or compliance within the financial services industry.
  • Have experience and understanding of COREP, FINREP, PRA110, and Pillar 3 Disclosures.
  • Be able to interpret regulatory rulebooks and navigate through applicable regulatory requirement texts.
  • Have excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
  • Hold a Professional Accountancy Qualification – ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent.
