Warehouse Operative Role

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at Devonshire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles and stacking empty pallets
  • Moving stocks and items of mail packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
  • Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions, and checking loads are secure
  • Performing daily equipment checks and assisting with loading and unloading trucks by hand where necessary
  • Dealing with stock returns and disposing of waste

Working Hours:

Our Warehouse Operative role involves working a day shift, with a contracted schedule of 7.00pm to 6.00am, working 11 hours per shift. This includes working on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Requirements:

  • Previous Warehouse Operative experience
  • IT literacy and competence in the use of MS Excel
