**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced social worker to join our London Infant & Family Team (LIFT) as a Children's Services Practitioner - Infant Mental Health Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively across professional disciplines to address the needs of vulnerable infants and children.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct collaborative assessments and interventions with infants, children, and their families, working within the context of Infant Mental Health.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote the well-being and safety of vulnerable infants and children.
  • Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, including Social Workers, Clinical Psychologists, and Family Engagement Workers with lived experience.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative services and programs to support vulnerable infants and children.

**Requirements**

  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Registration with the Social Work England (SWE) as a qualified social worker.
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable infants and children, including those with complex needs.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of working within the context of Safeguarding and Child Protection.
  • Excellent communication and assessment skills, with the ability to identify and manage risk.
  • Desire to develop practice in Infant Mental Health.
  • Passion to drive improved outcomes for infants, children, and their families.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of legislation, research, and best practice in child protection and safeguarding.
